Saltbush Social Enterprises is a proud delivery partner of the Australian Government’s Indigenous Skills and Employment Program (ISEP), a dedicated initiative designed to empower First Nations job seekers by providing culturally safe, trauma-informed, and holistic support to improve emotional and social wellbeing.
ISEP is a 20-week program that adopts a flexible, place-based approach, working directly with local communities, employers, and service providers to address employment barriers and regional workforce priorities. It aligns with the Closing the Gap Agreement, ensuring that Indigenous Australians have access to meaningful career pathways, training, and economic participation opportunities.
The ISEP journey is structured to provide:
Saltbush Social Enterprises ensures culturally safe service delivery by integrating traditional knowledge, community partnerships, and trauma-informed approaches. Our support is strengths-based, recognising the diverse experiences of Indigenous job seekers and tailoring our services to foster self-determination and long-term success.
ISEP supports Indigenous job seekers in the Northern Territory to build confidence, acquire skills, and secure sustainable employment. Whether entering the workforce for the first time, re-entering after a break, or seeking career advancement, ISEP offers personalised pathways to success.
By participating in ISEP, individuals gain access to holistic mentoring, industry-specific knowledge, and employment opportunities that not only enhance their professional growth but also contribute to the strength and resilience of their communities.
